Coordinator, People + Culture
Head Office - Toronto, ONPrimaris REIT is currently hiring a detail-oriented and analytical Coordinator to support our People + Culture team across recruitment, employee lifecycle administration, benefits and pension programs, and HR systems. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity within ADP Workforce Now and leveraging HR data to support informed, data-driven decision-making.
The People + Culture Coordinator will provide operational support while also contributing meaningful insights through reporting, analysis, and continuous process improvement.
*This is a temporary opportunity for approximately 16-months, anticipated to end in June 2027*
Vacancy Status: Replacement
HR Systems & Data (ADP Workforce Now)
• Act as a key operational user of ADP Workforce Now, including HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Benefits modules
• Maintain accurate and timely employee data throughout the employee lifecycle (new hires, changes, leaves, terminations)
• Support Time & Attendance administration, including monitoring exceptions, assisting managers and employees, and supporting audits and reconciliations
• Administer benefits and pension enrollments, changes, and terminations within ADP & other provider platforms
• Reconcile benefits, pension, and payroll-related data between ADP and external providers
• Support system testing, upgrades, audits, and process improvements related to HR systems
Reporting & Analytics
• Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, time & attendance trends, benefits participation)
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity to support reliable reporting and compliance requirements
• Identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis
• Provide clear, accurate reports and insights to HR team to support workforce planning and annual programs
Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle Support
• Prepare all employment-related documentation (e.g. new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, employment verifications)
• Support recruitment activities, including requisitions, job postings, application tracking, interview documentation, and reference checks
• Monitor internal and external career postings to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare comprehensive recruitment files for audit and compliance purposes
• Organize & occasionally facilitate onboarding and new hire training for employees
• Process all terminations across relevant HR systems
Programs & HR Initiatives
• Coordinate and provide support for annual People + Culture programs, including:
o Performance reviews and annual compensation increases
o Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP)
o Employee engagement surveys (EES)
• Prepare, distribute, and track employee communications related to reward & recognition, benefits, pension, and compliance initiatives
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education:
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Experience:
• 2–4 years of experience in a Human Resources or HR operations environment
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred, including exposure to Time & Attendance and Benefits modules
Specialized skills, knowledge, abilities:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret HR data and identify trends
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience producing HR reports and working with data-driven insights
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Professional, diplomatic, and customer-focused approach
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
• Experience utilizing Power BI is considered an asset
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset but not required
Compensation:
At Primaris, we believe in rewarding talent with competitive wages and total compensation package. Your compensation is thoughtfully determined based on factors such as location, job level, relevant education or training, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, while ensuring internal equity and alignment with market data.
Expected Annual Salary: CAD $62,000 - $72,000
